Chaz Bono and Other Plus-Size 'Dancing with the Stars' Contestants (omg!)

Last week, Chaz Bono's scores on "Dancing with the Stars" suffered due to knee pain, which the activist has attributed to being overweight and suddenly dancing for long hours at a time. Despite it all, Bono still plans to bravely continue on the reality competition, joining a list of other "plus size" contestants who strutted their stuff on the dance floor. Here is a look at some of the more memorable contestants and how well they fared.

Emmitt Smith - Season 2

Not necessarily the biggest competitor on the list (his weight is listed on some sources as being 210lbs), Smith still wowed the judges with some killer dance moves and a winning smile. He was even given the nickname "Twinkle Toes" by Judge Carrie Ann Inaba for being so light on his feet, and eventually took the competition away from the equally (though some might argue more) gifted Mario Lopez.

Warren Sapp - Season 7

Though the thought of a 330lbs. man might not be the first image people conjure up when thinking of ballroom dancing, Warren Sapp proved that big guys can still glide with the best of them, cha-cha-ing his way to second place behind current "Dancing" co-host Brooke Burke.

Steve Wozniak - Season 8

Wozniak may be a genius in the computer world, but he was all left feet on the dance floor, and somehow even managed to score a combined 10 points out of 30 from the judges. Wozniak was a real trooper though, competing with both a pulled hamstring and a foot fracture right up until his elimination.

Kyle Massey - Season 11

Massey was best known to fans of the Disney Channel for his roles on "That's So Raven" and "Cory in the House," however the moment he and pro partner Lacey Schwimmer stepped out to do their Cha Cha, he literally became an instant fan favorite, combining decent technique with a infectious personality. The young dynamo finished in second behind "Dirty Dancing" star Jennifer Grey.

Kirstie Alley - Season 12

Alley's battle with her weight have been tabloid fodder for years, with the former "Cheers" actress even becoming a spokesperson for Jenny Craig. Her intention was to not only win "Dancing with the Stars," but to lose some pounds as well. Though she eventually came in second behind Hines Ward, Alley can still be considered a winner due to the 100lbs she has shed since her appearance.

Who was your favorite "plus size" "Dancing with the Stars" contestant?
